Croatia wins OGAE Song Contest 2008

The 2008 edition of the OGAE Song Contest has just come to an end with the points awarding ceremony. This year’s organizers, the Spanish branch of OGAE, have arranged a splendid Eurovision-like part which lasts more than 20 minutes, with all 27 spokesmen (and women) giving the 8, 10 and 12 points.
The OGAE Song Contest is an audio event in which all OGAE national clubs can enter with an original song released in the previous 12 months in their countries and sang in one of the country’s official languages. Spain had this year the honour of hosting the 23rd OGAE Song Contest thanks to the victory of the Spanish branch of OGAE last year in Greece with the song Qué no daría yo, by Rebeca.
Twenty eight clubs participated this year and OGAE Spain put together a video with the voting as delivered by the local spokespersons.
